About Laugh Louisville!

The Basics

Where are you located?

We are located in the 4th Street Live! complex at 441 S. 4th Street Louisville, KY 40202 on the second floor.

When are the shows? / How much are tickets?

Every week our programming is unique so check our calendar for when you’re thinking of visiting us for the specifics of who’s playing when and how much.

Is there an age restriction on your shows?

Laugh Louisville is a 21+ club and we do check IDs. We generally consider our shows to be R-rated. Please do your own due diligence to research comics if you are unfamiliar with the comic's material.

When do doors open?

The doors open an hour before show time to our bar, and approximately half an hour before showtime for the actual showroom.

Is there parking available?

Yes! 4th Street Live has dedicated parking located at 425 South Fifth Street, Louisville, KY 40202. Please refer to their site for the most up-to-date pricing.

What if there is inclement weather?

Laugh Louisville rarely cancels shows due to inclement weather. However, if that were to happen, the box office will contact all ticket buyers and ask if they’d like to exchange their purchase for another show or provide them with a full refund. We will also post the closure on Twitter and Facebook.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Unfortunately, we do not. For extenuating circumstances, please contact our Box Office at boxoffice@laughlouisville.com.

Can I buy tickets through a secondary seller?

We highly suggest that you do not. The only secondary seller we occasionally work with is Goldstar. Any other secondary seller (StubHub, VividSeats, Event Ticket Center, TicketCity, etc.) will not have the most up-to-date information and can leave a patron uninformed of last-minute changes. Laugh Boston is not responsible for patrons not being notified of changes if they purchase through a secondary seller. Tickets from these sellers are also typically much more expensive at 2x to 5x the face value of the ticket when tickets are still directly available through us. If tickets are sold out we suggest signing up for availability notifications on the event page of the performance you are hoping to attend or coming by the night of the performance for stand-by tickets.

Are firearms allowed in the venue?

No, Laugh Louisville does not permit any type of firearm, gun, knife, throwing star, fire-breathing dragon, or any other dangerous personal possession into the venue. If a weapon is found on your person at check-in, you will be asked to return it to your car before entering the venue. Laugh Louisville cannot store or handle any personal weapons.

Are you hiring?

We are! Please email Ryan@laughlouisville.com for more information on available positions.

Food & Drink

Is there food?

There will be eventually! In our opening weeks we're focusing on our drink service and then we'll be ramping up the kitchen for in-show food service.

Is there a drink minimum?

Nope! Laugh Louisville does not require that you purchase food or beverages while at a show, but you are more than welcome to.

Seating

Are seats assigned? What if I’m with a group?

Seating is general admission. We can only guarantee group seating if there is availability and if the entire group arrives before the start of the show. We do our best to accommodate all groups!

Will the comedian make fun of me if I sit up front?

It is possible. We discourage the comics from calling out audience members, but occasionally it is part of their act (usually all in good fun.) If you are worried about the comic interacting with you or your party members, we suggest requesting seats farther away from the stage when you arrive. Arriving early and on time will ensure best seating availability and options for you and your party.

Behavior

Can I yell out funny comments to help the comedian make the show better?

We are a no heckling club and discourage unprompted interaction with the comedian while they are on stage. If you or a member of your group becomes a distraction to the act or the audience you will be asked to leave. Often the comedian will be available after the show for pictures and conversation. Please note: the comics reserve the right to interact with audience members at their own discretion. If you’d prefer that this does not happen to you or members of your party, we suggest requesting seats farther away from the stage when you arrive.

Can I do a guest spot?

For the headliner? Nah, probably not. We'll hopefully have some amateur nights and open mics coming up in the future!

Have you thought of doing an open mic?

Totally! We don’t have one right now, because we’re focusing our programming to bring you the best comedy in the country. However, stay tuned! We’re always programing fun, new shows.
